PA/1F/1G – Downhand; Pipe rotates with axis horizontal, welding downhand
PB/2F – Horizontal; Pipe fixed with axis vertical
PC/2G – Horizontal-vertical; Pipe fixed with axis vertical, welding horizontal-vertical
PD/4F – Overhead; Pipe with axis vertical, welding overhead
PE/4G – Overhead;
PF/3F up/3G up – Vertical-up
PG/3F down/3G down – Vertical-down
PH/5F up/5G up- Pipe with axis horizontal, welding upwards
PJ/5F down/5G down- Pipe with axis horizontal, welding downwards

* Pipe fixed with axis under 45° angle, welding upwards: H-L045/6G
* Pipe fixed with axis under 45° angle, welding downwards: H-L045/6G
